  New Generation understanding tied to Freddie Franz

  also don't know if this has been mentioned previously.. our speaker yesterday, gb member br.

  pierce, tied the overlap theory directly to fred franz's lifetime.. did anyone else catch this?.

  evidently (and i'm paraphrasing), anyone anointed after franz's death in 1992 is not of the 'generation'.. 5th.

  The significance of Freddy is that he managed to live until he was 99. If he had lived till say 80 (special mightiness he would hav only gone on until 1973. People with exeptional life spans are not who you think of as the cohort of a generation. No wonder they use him as an exaple, it stretches the stretch.

  the wt of september 15, 2010 (kool-aid version) has two articles on unity.

  one is titled: unity identifies true worship and the other christian unity glorifies god.

  of course it is more uniformity, not true unity.

  I am going to answer in that WT study. "It is a happyfying and faith stengthening thing that Jehovah does not use any men on the earth but rather through his son JC he uses the GB to lead his people". I bet people just nod sagely and don't bat an eyelid. Great thread.

  what story in the troof makes you feel most cheated?.

  i just thought of an experience that still makes steam come out of my ears and my nose bleed.

  there was wide publicity in the uk about a little girl that was dying for want of blood.

  I just thought of an experience that still makes steam come out of my ears and my nose bleed. There was wide publicity in the UK about a little girl that was dying for want of blood. I was very affected by this and I got in touch with a local elder who told me that they had set up a fund in desperation to send her for special treatment abroad. I sent a cheque for several hundred hard earned pounds.

  I received a letter almost immediately saying that the little girl had died and the fund had been sent to the society.

  This was before the flips on blood, I had grown up absolutely believing the blood issue and felt truly sorry for this family. I have never though been in the business of swelling the overflowing treasure chest of the great all knowing all sucking SOCIETY. I would still like my money back.

  Now I have moved on, i just want my LIFE back.

  It is the "Emperors new clothes" syndrome. Everybody is told that the thing is true but nobody can see it. Nobody wants to be the the first one to break ranks.

  In the case of the story even the Emperor was taken in, he didn't want to be the one who could not see it. Is this true of our dear leaders.
